[Mod] Glow Blocks [1.1] [glowblocks]

Description:
This mod adds several nodes that emit light. It includes Glow Blocks that are animated to have a glow-like effect. It also includes Light Blocks which are normal blocks (dirt, stone, and grass) that emit light, light boxes also work with all normal texture changes to Dirt, Stone, and Grass blocks. It also adds Light Block Panels, which can be used to make paths, and other similar things.

The nodes in the mod are also mesecon compatible, however they work backwards, so when they don't have power they are on, and when they have power they are off.
[Mod] Meseor impacts [0.1.0] [meseor]

Download meseor 0.1.0 http://www.mediafire.com/?ljxrbzh1b3n22od
Github https://github.com/paramat/meseor
Compatible with Minetest 0.4.3 to 0.4.6
Depends default
License WTFPL

* Warning, this mod can seriously damage maps, it is not 'on generated', instead impact is triggered by abm on dirt, grass, desert sand and sand. Unless testing in a new world you should edit the 'impact area' and 'safe area' in the init.lua.

* This first version is the fastest and simplest, also being compatible back to 0.4.3. Perhaps i will develop a more complex version for 0.4.6 including the new stuff like mese crystals, obsidian etc.

* Default parameters are for one impact every few minutes for your instant gratification, for normal use you might want to increase the abm interval and chance parameters. Personally i just add 1 or 2 zeros on the end of MSRCHA.

* The primary excavated nodes (stone, desert stone, dirt, grass, desert sand, sand, trees) are counted, the proportions calculated, then randomly layered around the crater in the same proportions and with the same total number of nodes, thickest at the crater rim and thinning inwards and outwards.

* Most stone is broken into gravel. Grass becomes dirt. Water, snow, plants are assumed to be vapourized and are not counted. As the ejected material is added it strips surrounding trees of their leaves.

* Damage is inflicted to nearby players depending on distance from impact point, by default a rare direct hit is fatal.

* There is a sound file for using your own choice of sound, however the default sound is simply the pop of a dug node, it seems a perfect cute / abstract impact sound.

* Parameters for almost everything.

^ A large impact shreds a forest and scatters the wood.

^ The initial excavation.

You need 8 wood and 1 diamond to craft it following way:

wood wood wood

Things I want to add are:

mesecon-powered motors (easy)

gears stop spinning when they are not powered by a motor gear, another gear powered by a motor, or a gear powered indirectly ( through other gear(s) ) by a motor.

Mod menu
Version: 0.2
Code License: WTFPL
Textures: none included
Dependencies: none

This is a relatively simple mod that adds a menu to the game for various mod actions. The menu can be accessed by typing "/m" in the in-game chat.

It includes a compatibility module that adds items from inventory_plus to the menu (seen here with skins and 3d armor):

Since it shows these mods' formspecs in a separate menu, this means mods that use the inventory_plus API can now be used with mods that modify the default inventory (such as unified_inventory) installed (previously, these could not be used simultaneously):

Download latest version: https://github.com/bhull2010/minetest-m … master.zip
Browse the code: https://github.com/bhull2010/minetest-mod-modmenu

Changes:
Version 0.2:

Fixed buttons being added to the menu twice if a user disconnected and rejoined a server

Old versions:
0.1 - https://github.com/bhull2010/minetest-m … ve/0.1.zip

[Mod] Nether [nether]

Hello everyone!
This mod adds a nether to Minetest.

You can go into the nether by either digging deep down or build a obsidian portal as seen in the screenshots above. To activate the portal, rightclick it with a mese crystal fragment.
When you go into the portal it will teleport you directly into the nether. A new portal is generated at your spawning point, and it will bring you back to your first portal (Note: the genration of the portal in the nether might take some time (up to 4 seconds)).
If one of the portals get destroyed (i.e. an obisidan block gets dug) the connection is destroyed. New portals that are build in the nether will bring you near the surface again.

Rare materials like glowstone, nethersand and netherbricks can be found in the nether. Netherbricks only appear in nether dungeons, and are not craftable.

sdzen has made a mob for this with the Simple Mobs API: http://ompldr.org/vaWFrZw/lawyers.zip
Get Simple Mobs here: http://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=3063

License:
(see README.txt)
Sourcecode: WTFPL
Textures: CC BY-SA

Depends:
default

GitHub:
https://github.com/PilzAdam/nether

Download:
https://github.com/PilzAdam/nether/archive/master.zip

Compatibility:
This mod should run on Minetest 0.4.6 stable, but the portal needs current dev version of Minetest to be transparent.
You can apply this mod to any map that has not yet generated the area under -5000 (this is most likely not the case).
