I've disabled the download indefinitely.
Removing the file and re-compressing the archive takes more time than I have right now.
If someone still wants the data, please update this thread and I'll see what I can do.
Cheers

Re: [0.4.10-dev] Liberty Land Server
Hey Foz, everybody, I can make the database available after the 31st of July. I can also make the code available. Actually, most of our changes are already tracked in git and you can find them on ayntest GitHub . There are however some more changes and a couple of scripts we use that are not include...

Yes, sorry about that. It's related to an overall issue we have but I have been very busy lately and couldn't work on it. I'll post an update as soon as I have something.

We couldn't figure out exactly what was causing this so I just removed the Strawberry Bush of Doom. Let me know if there are any more problems.

Re: Advantages and Disadvantages of merging Mesecons
With 6 cores of a Xeon, 15-20 players, the CPU sits at 100% just about the entire time. Excuse me, but how did you achieve that? Our server is running on a cheap VPS and it's CPU utilization rarely exceeds 25% independent of player count. Specifically, we have these two cores: # grep 'model name' /...

Re: [0.4.10-dev] Liberty Land Server
Hi Aijo. We weren't sure what you were trying to do with that lava thing. It was getting bigger and we thought it was a bit intrusive, especially since there were a lot of other owned areas nearby and you hadn't put claims on most of it. That's why we decided to remove it. I'd appreciate it if you m...

Why are you taking your development separate from core? [...] If you have the capability of contributing to core, then please do Donat is working right now on tidying up all our patches in proper commits so we can open pull requests on github. Apart from that, I'm not sure exactly what you were ref...

Re: What's Minetest still missing over Minecraft?
Hey spamyak! You sound like a huge asshole, and I appreciate it. We need more assholes like you. I think that because we love open source, we sometimes go into protective-apologist-mode and try to excuse or ignore every way in which our projects suck, instead of humbly acknowledging that we do suck ...

http://servers.minetest.net/ is not properly listing servers since yesterday. I haven't seen any topic about this so I thought I'd mention it. Is anybody aware of this? Who is maintaining servers.minetest.net?

Re: Some serious questions from a MC server owner
And to actually reply to one of your questions KzoneDD -I would most likely start off light, say an i3 with 16 Gb RAM and a 50 Mbps up/down pipe. Simply, because that's what I can build from parts I have within reach. How would the game like that as a home? Would it try to escape? Do you actually ha...

3. Kids - The biggest problem, currently. They will hang onto your server and lag out your other, active players. Sometimes, they will play the game all day long. For the kids reading this, checkout Liberty Land . We have set up our server in such a way that people can play on it, all day even! Rea...

Re: [0.4.10-dev] Liberty Land Server
Hi Minetestforfun. Leaflet is great but it was a bit tricky setting it up for non-geographic maps. I might publish a guide on how I did it for LL, but first I'll have to clean up and document my tile generation scripts. For now I can point you to what I used as a guide which is this leafletjs quick ...
