why not use CC0 and WTFPL?
Because CC0 is not valid in jurisdictions that do not have a concept of deliberate public domain (in those jurisdictions CC0 works as general business terms and not as a license), and because according to the author WTFPL is a parody on GPL and not a real license.

For reference these are the top games in CDB and Minetest Game would probably within the first 5 if it wasn't shipped by default. Then offer those to the players on first start and do not ...

Re: Minetest Game: polish, improvements and "game juice".

I would even go as far as to say that MTG has to be taken care of as long as mods heavily rely on it. I would even go a step further and say that there should be done everything to make it easy to NOT depend on Minetest Game (namely it’s default mod and the crucial APIs and functions it provides).

How to prevent default on_punch action being triggered in custom on_punch function?

Basically the title. I have an on_punch function that triggers a certain action – a formspec is shown to the player – when a node is punched with another node. on_punch = function (pos, node, puncher, pointed_thing) local wielded_item = puncher:get_wielded_item():get_name() local player_name = punch...

I guess most of them do not directly depend on MTG but to one or some of the mods and APIs that come with it.

The problem could be solved by de-coupling them from MTG and offer them individually.

This is why autolinters/beautifiers exist. Code style should be the least thing a tester should care about.
