madchicken13, did you read the whole README.txt? Especially this: Download minetest_game (otherwise only the "Minimal development test" game is available) $ cd games/ $ wget https://github.com/celeron55/minetest_game/tarball/master -O master.tar.gz $ tar xf master.tar.gz $ mv celeron55-minetest_game...

As I said: the language is "selected" when you compile , not in-game. At the compile time you select do you have language support or not. But the language to use is selected at run time. But there is still no language menu in the game. That is not an error, the selection is made by an environment v...

Great!

A suggestion: maybe you could use less decimals with those round numbers, 100.000% could be 100.0% or 100%, what do you think?

And I know you know this but you need to buy a windows or mac to get Linux :P Why? There's no reason for this. For example, if you have no operating system in your new computer, you do not have to buy windows to get Linux, you can go to your friend, a library, (maybe a netcafe) to download Linux an...

minetestserver init script

Hi!
I've made a minetestserver init script (SysV-style). Maybe it could be useful to some server admins. Let me know if there's something wrong in that script, it's my first but seems to work (on my machine ;-).

It is available at https://gist.github.com/2770283.

Oh, now I see, this is the case: You have Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty) but you are installing minetest-server from 12.10 (Quantal). The 12.10 is yet a development version, I think, and it has newer dependencies which can not be installed to your system because it has older version. You could try to compile ...

Jenkins: Did you compile it yourself or install from package manager?

MisterBananas: Apt-get doesn't work that way. This is the output (I'm currently in Debian, but should be same for Ubuntu):
Code: Select all
E: Invalid operation libjthread.so.1.3.1

Griefer activity!
All wood blocks were gone when I check my house, and looks like someone's been playing with water, too.
Could you consider a rollback, please?

Hi, I'm the person who syncs the translations (see pull request). Someone just has to pull them in. When you're ready, of if anyone sees that there's new translation and the pull request is not updated, please contact me some way.

EDIT: Pull request is now updated. Spanish included.

Try "minetest" instead of "mesetint". Does it work when you try to open the game clicking in explorer?

Just IDK about technical side of this :) should we create some branch or repo for this. And how would LP translations be connected to upstream. Could it be done by auto commit or by hand? If someone has some experience with this, he/she could help a bit...

Launchpad translations?

What do you think, should we try to make it possible to translate Minetest using Launchpad, they've made it pretty easy (see this)? Maybe then it will be translated into more languages.

You could try openid login. But for that, you must create an openid account. Or, I can add the server to that page (I have an OpenID), if you provide the information you want there.
