Hi!
I've made a minetestserver init script (SysV-style). Maybe it could be useful to some server admins. Let me know if there's something wrong in that script, it's my first but seems to work (on my machine ;-).

Oh, now I see, this is the case: You have Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty) but you are installing minetest-server from 12.10 (Quantal). The 12.10 is yet a development version, I think, and it has newer dependencies which can not be installed to your system because it has older version. You could try to compile ...

Launchpad translations?
What do you think, should we try to make it possible to translate Minetest using Launchpad, they've made it pretty easy (see this)? Maybe then it will be translated into more languages.

You could try openid login. But for that, you must create an openid account. Or, I can add the server to that page (I have an OpenID), if you provide the information you want there.
