Due to Clang issues, unfortunately, builds were switched to 10.11. The latest 10.10 build is 2017-06-10.

Re: [macOS/OS X] Neoascetic's nightly/stable builds and othe

Probably we may use homebrew to get the latest stable and my repo for dailies.

I'll try to setup stable build when I have free time.

Re: [macOS/OS X] Neoascetic's nightly/stable builds and othe

Actually, AFAIK there is no limits for releases on GitHub, but I've switched to travis-based cron jobs ( see this travis file ) and didn't setup stable builds (simply because it's easier for me), but there are releases for each day now and they won't be removed. If you really interested in stable bu...

Re: [macOS/OS X] Neoascetic's nightly/stable builds and othe

Ah OK, that shows you how much I know about Travis. :-) The issue with the Homebrew builds is real (tested on 10.12), that's also why I am downloading the krondor builds now instead of using Homebrew. It would be great if you can solve this problem somehow. Actually, for me, this problem appears ev...

Re: [macOS/OS X] Neoascetic's nightly/stable builds and othe

I think Neoascetic uses the Travis build scripts, which compile MT in debug mode (https://github.com/krondor-game/minetest/blob/master/util/travis/script.sh , line 14), Homebrew use release builds (https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-games/blob/master/minetest.rb , line 45). Also, it looks like Fr...

Re: [Game] Pixture

@kaadmy Thank you for such good game! I fall in love with its visual style, and I think it should be bundled with official game package, so I decided to include it in my nightly and stable Minetest builds for OSX . I have few questions, though. First of all, are all mods that packaged with the game ...

Re: [minetest-bower] mod repository and package manager

I absolutely love the idea and frontend implementation. Good work, @cornernote, thank you! I even started implementing something similar a year ago, but in lua/lapis (http://leafo.net/lapis/), here the sources if you are interested: https://github.com/krondor-game/mmdb. Personally, I think that havi...

Re: [OS X] Morn76's builds and neoascetic's nightly builds

My builds was built on Mavericks, but of course work on Yosemite too, so note in the first post a little bit incorrect. I don't want to create new thread. Instead, I want all issues be reported to the main Minetest repo; I want to get (and provide) first-class support of OSX in Minetest. Thus, I thi...

Re: [OS X] Morn76's Yosemite builds

I've created a patch for minetest which simplifies standalone bundle creation (i. e. it takes care about all work by copying all dependencies into resulting bundle). If (when) it merged, I guess there will be no more need in separate project and I hope @Morn76 we may spend our time on making Minetes...

Thanks to Megaf it is now possible to define Shift as the sneak key. The "e" key workaround is no longer needed.
I wonder why all these patches are not merged with the main repo.

@neoascetic: Could you look into the trackpad stickiness issue? Load the development test and perhaps set fps_max really low and watch the sluggishness when looking around. Ok, I'll take a look. What needs to be done so this compiles on an Intel 64-bit architecture? What problem do you have exactly?

One of the first things I see when I open up Minetest is an unattractive menu and if it wasn't for the fact that I came to Minetest to mod I would have closed the game an carried on with my life. When I user opens up a game the first thing they see is the buttons, the intro... this is the first imp...

Excellent! How does this work exactly, e.g. is there a way to download these builds somewhere? If so I'd like to link to them from the first post in this thread. Currently these builds only for testing purposes, just to be sure that everything compiles well. The issue with dynamic linking is still ...
