Re: [Mod] BobBlocks [v(GitHub)] [20130305] [bobblocks]
I receive GitHub email every now again and I'm always surprised to see this one still going along: thank you for keeping it alive. I edited the lead post with the below and as noted, I'll make an effort to combine items to Master if needed over time. Coders, please consider updating the readme.txt v...

Re: [Mod] BobBlocks [v0.0.8] [20130305] [bobblocks]
Please verify that you are using v0.0.8 (found in the readme.txt file).
Anyone want ownership of the mod? Requirements are that the name stays the same and initial creation credit goes to me. Serious inquiries only (and I'll probably research the forums a little to get a feel for who you are)!

Thanks, found it after the post and poking around. Just a little frustrating after getting to a point with the game where it's not a chore to keep it running and something changes. I will say that now that I know how to do this, I can see where this is easier than using the stable release package re...

Believe it or not, BobBlocks original texture inspiration was the Rubik's Cube sitting on my desk.

It is better to do port forwarding in your router, and not deal with uPnp; but this is nice... For the security conscious, see show 389 of Security Now. Within the first 3:30 I was aghast at the number of vulnerable routers out there. http://www.grc.com/securitynow.htm <- mp3 download available htt...

ERROR[ServerThread]: Server: peer_id=2: failed to emerge player [FYI]
I've seen a few threads, internet posts, etc while looking into this error this morning. I was putting together a fresh minetest server at my house and kept running into " ERROR[ServerThread]: Server: peer_id=2: failed to emerge player ". I tried stock, I tried different client builds on a...

bobblocks .... mesecons (Not the full plugin pack, just the single plugin. It's a dependency of bobblocks, but the full pack causes too much lag on my low power server.) If you are using v0.0.6 of BobBlocks, edit blocks.lua and remove everything (all the way to the end of the file) below the follow...

Blocks have been implemented as conductors with the latest Mesecons and I'll do poles later this week when I have a moment. If you need to fix your install right now, here is the pastebin drop:

Back up your original blocks.lua just in case there are any issues.

Sorry, RabbiBob for not telling you. The problem is just that there are many mods using mesecons and I also don't know all of them, that's why I didn't post in all the topics. But true, I could have told the ones I know and I will do that in case a second update is required (there are no plans howe...

Go with option number 2, but find a way to fix those limitations if you can. It would also be a good idea to try to improve compatibility with mods that rely on mesecons (like technic and bobblocks) since the newest version of it is not compatible with them. The compatibility with other mods that u...

Latest mesecons update breaks BobBlocks functionality and I'm looking at how to correct my code to compensate. In the meantime, edit blocks.lua and remove everything (all the way to the end of the file) below the following lines: -- MESECON -- Add jeija to bobblocks\default.txt and paste the below i...

I'll have to look into this issue with the mesecons dependency. Just noticed the post while searching.
