Nope. The developers would really like if you tested with the latest commit and included the commit number when reporting too.

Re: [mod] Minetest Systemd (API) [minetest_systemd]

You can manually sift through the code and CTRL+R it. It takes a bit of time but it does get the job done. Also, please, make this a modpack and not one giant integated bloat monolithic mod. Many of the proposed features can be broken into smaller mods, like mathf and collisionf. What trolling? Linu...

gg no re
@Christian_Soldier, you might want to check out my completely unrelated mod with fullbright nodes with more than just green. (and thus limited to creative only because it's an eyesore)

inb4 MTG includes minetest_systemd sooner than the blink of an eye.
/me shrivers in disgust and fear.
Also, be sure to mount /var and /lib read-write, maybe even /sys/efivars! Someone somewhere might need to restart the computer or install a library while the game is running. ;)

That's flattering, cheers mate, but I was thinking about the greater community: you making it a standalone mod and posting it to the forums, I believe some server owners would really appreciate it.

Re: Minetest is golden age of Minecraft

Have Minetest run the mods in an own namespace (this would also allow using global variables without caring about the name because the names are always global in the mod’s namespace only) and when they crash just destroy the namespace instead of crashing the server. (I know, I know, you asked a dif...

What about zlib? It's similar to ISC but the only restrictions that it imposes is that modified versions *must* tell that they are and the original source must still be zlib, *I thnk*.

Non-cache-able textures

Hi, just a suggestion. I believe that adding an option to make textures not cache-able on the client is an easy to implement feature: download the texture and keep it until the game is closed or possibly the server sends a specific request for clients to prune the cached texture. This will allow tex...

Re: Minetest 5.0.0 is on the road

There's no release date, it will be released when it's ready. There are only a few blocking issues left, but also, development has been very quiet recently, so progress is slow. I was hoping for before winter solstice but it may be early next year. I'm glad to hear there is a small number of show-s...

Re: Remove LuaJIT support?

When we release Minetest Quantum, we'll remove not just LuaJIT, but also all Lua support.

All content for MT is written in Lua, LuaJIT is merely an improvement over the standard implementation, removing Lua support would practically kill all content and the community, what are you, nuts?

I would write some of this in decent egliah but it's 3 am right now. Minetest does minetesticies but for those who really enjoy and really engage in minetesticies are the ones that form a community and it's here. We're... awkward name, minetesters, we test mines, yeah!!!1!1 We shouldn't import minec...

Re: [discussion]Technical notes on how to defeat(*) oredetec

Haven't read half of the third page, I agree with the idea of an expensive ore detector tool. I'd augment to that by having layers upon layers upon layers of increasingly rarer ores and increasingly more expensive tools that finds even rarer ores, thus creating a relatively balanced, layer based min...

It doesn't take bandwith nor server load to process the commands, your client does it.
