Re: [0.4.14] LinuxGaming2 - Shutdown
Although I've not played Minetest for quite a while, I was sad to hear that the server had shutdown. I spent many (thousands of?) hours happily chilling on LG2, met some good people, all good memories! Huge thanks to LazyJ for keeping a great server going so long. You did a good thing there, LazyJ, ...

Re: [0.4.14] LinuxGaming2 - A Server for Builders
no, it's not that its laggy. It's more to do with removing griefing opportunities from new or passing-through players who do not have the best of intentions.

Re: [0.4.14] LinuxGaming2 - A Server for Builders
Hi necklace,
for the screwdriver to work you need the "twist" priv - take a look at the info about privs on page 1 of this thread.
To recycle saw-cut blocks you need at least one whole block of the same material in the "input material" slot.
hope that helps.

Hi Thorton,
what operating system are you running?
if you're running Linux, and you are happy to compile from source code, I can send you a copy of the version that I'm using.

yes it does appear to use the highest texture size in your pack for the scale factor.

Re: Tip: hi-rez textures + texture filtering in 0.4.13
What it does is to apply a blurring, so that the lo-rez textures no longer look pixellated. Yes, it is confusing, and had me puzzled for weeks, until PilzAdam put me straight (Ta!). "texture_min_size" actually means "apply the filter to textures this size and bigger", which is no...

Tip: hi-rez textures + texture filtering in 0.4.13
If you are using a hi-rez texture pack, but your favourite server uses some textures not supported by the pack, then you may see lo-rez textures alongside your nice hi-rez ones. In MT 0.4.13 this can be fixed by setting the "texture_min_size" parameter in your minetest.conf file. If you se...

Re: [0.4.12] LinuxGaming - A Server for Builders
Hi folks :-) One of my recent projects, one that I took over from klappspaten, was to restore PlayMassiv's Wood House. Here's a short write-up and some pictures: Before I started work, I had a good long think about how to proceed. Because this build was unfinished and long-abandoned, I felt that I h...
