Re: [Modpack] Dreambuilder [20170812-2037]

Nope, not going to add the bridges mod. It looks kinda nice, but it also looks like objects are made out of tons and tons of nodeboxes (means poor video performance). If it hadn't been for that, I might have considered adding it. The advanced carts mod may go in at some point, however, as long as it...

Yes, and they were built without religion-specific mods. Sorry, just no.

It's not my religion (I'm Jewish), and in any case religion has no place in Minetest.

Re: [Modpack] Home Decor [git] [homedecor_modpack]

I don't know anything about "display modpack", but old versions of Home Decor came with a sign mod called signs_lib, but that hasn't been the case for a very long time now. All of those "unknown" objects are probably text entities left over from the use of signs_lib. Just do /cle...

Andrey01: I won't be doing anything significant with this project for a long while. If someone wants to make one or more pull requests to do the things you want, I'll consider merging it/them. Stix: No, sorry. It's had detailed models for a few years now, so what you ask for would not only be extrem...

No, I have no such plans. There are other mods out there such as xdecor that may fit your needs.

Re: [Modpack] Home Decor [git] [homedecor_modpack]

Whether you can craft one or many isn't anything I have control over, it's the irritating "feature" of Minetest's creative mode that stacks are almost always 1 in size and treated as infinite when you start placing things in-world. Makes it very inconvenient for crafting (this is also why ...

Re: [Modpack] Home Decor [git] [homedecor_modpack]

Craft a white chair first, then place it. Switch to wield red dye and punch the chair with it, and it'll change color.

Re: [Modpack] Home Decor [git] [homedecor_modpack]

You craft the white item and then colorize it after placing, by wielding some dye and punching.

At some point in the future I will make it possible to directly craft colored items like it used to be.

Re: [Modpack] Dreambuilder [20170812-2037]

You probably just need to "Configure" your world, disable the entire Dreambuilder modpack, and then re-enable the whole thing to fix the travelnets. If the rats are annoying, disable the "carbone_mobs" mod and run /clearobjects quick I never produced any kind of tutorial, so you ...

Re: [Modpack] Home Decor [git] [homedecor_modpack]

Make sure your copy of Unified Dyes is up-to-date. There was a minor bug recently that broke most recipes that required white dye, including most of those in Home Decor. Also bear in mind that the Home Decor crafting guide on my website is out of date. That'll be resolved at some point in the future.

Re: [Modpack] Dreambuilder [20170812-2037]

Dreambuilder is built against the official 0.4.16 release. No testing has been done on newer git commits because the newer stuff is not 0.4.x but actually 0.5.x (despite what the version number suggests), and contains "breaking changes". I do seem to recall the character height/stance bein...

Re: Can't access currency mod thread

The mod thread is in the "Trash" area, only moderators/admins can access it. It will remain there until the forum bug preventing the first post being edited is fixed. The currency mod itself is still maintained, though not explicitly by me (that's why it's in the "minetest-mods" ...

You don't see them in there because....well... they just aren't in there. :-)

I figured users could just use the regular slopes for this purpose.

Re: [Mod] Technic [0.4.16-dev] [technic]

No, 0.4.9 is sorely outdated. You need at least 0.4.16 to run this modpack. Please upgrade.

Re: [Mod] Stained Glass [1.2] [stained_glass] - new alpha su

III, Basically yeah - I would just define a node, call it "plain stained glass" or something, and add the 3 or 4 things to the node definition that connect it with Unified Dyes (group setting, palette, after-place and after-dig callbacks). Unified Dyes handles the rest. There are also some...

Re: [Mod] Stained Glass [1.2] [stained_glass] - new alpha su

The glass is supposed to glow, that's why it's made from super glow glass :)

As for opacity, you can't change that. If a glass is too dark with "dark" dye, try a "medium" shade instead.

Re: [Mod] Stained Glass [1.2] [stained_glass] - new alpha su

Your information is outdated. Items are hardware-colored, so they don't have colors in their names anymore, not since late January. The use of the sweeper was phased out a couple of months ago. To make any color of stained glass, including the "light", "faint", and "pastel&q...

Re: [Mod] Advanced Trains [advtrains] [1.8.3]

Look inside the top-level folder as it appears when you clone it from github - there's a modpack.txt in there. Go down a level into advtrains/ and you'll find another modpack.txt.

As far as Minetest is concerned, that makes it a modpack inside of a modpack :-)

Re: [Mod] Advanced Trains [advtrains] [1.8.3]

I see where it went wrong -- it's a modpack within a modpack, which Minetest no longer supports. I didn't notice it, or see it mentioned in the documentation.
