@Teneighty - it looks as if your client didn't load the skybox textures properly, try clearing your cache folder and logging back into server to reload textures maybe. While checking out the asteroid biome for the first time, I was experiencing a lime green sky when looking at a small area. I know the thread is old, but it was the first result when I searched for a solution to this problem.

SOLVED, I think... Made a big difference alright. The previous post was minetest 4.11 and ethereal 1.12.
