Some years ago, we started the development of a third, improved and more configurable version.

However, due to lack of time and other, more important projects, there is currently no progress on this version 3.

I think there's no really good way in version 2 for reducing the number of nodes.

Please make sure to not use the latest stable release of this mod (Version 1.0) because it won't work with Minetest 5.

Instead, please use the latest master/dev version of this mod.

I finally updated this mod to work with Minetest 5.0. Thanks for your patience. Minetest 0.4.x is not officially supported anymore by this mod. According to the ContentDB, this mod contains non-free media. (https://content.minetest.net/packages/P ... y_modpack/)

Is this still true?

As far as I know, the non-free font got replaced with the metro font.

As far as I can see, minetest.is_player() utilizes ObjectRef:is_player() internally.

As far as I know, this is not possible with the current Minetest API.
