Re: [Server] Xanadu
Hello, Sad day for me, someone destroyed my protected home and stole my items because I was AFK: He wrote on my welcome sign: http://yugiohjcj.free.fr/minetest-20200826-1.png He stole all my chests: http://yugiohjcj.free.fr/minetest-20200826-2-chests.png He destroyed the ground and the walls: http:/...

Re: [Server] Xanadu
When I try to connect today: I see "Access denied. Reason: Invalid password". Is there a server maintenance or my account has been stolen please? Fixed! It was my fault. I set bad firewall rules so all requests sent to port 30000 in my network were sent to a specific machine. So, my passw...

Re: [Server] Xanadu
The server is currently down.
I can't connect to it in-game and I don't see it anymore in the server list: http://servers.minetest.net/
Edit: Fixed! It is back.

Re: Minetest 0.4.17.1 (Bugfix release)
Thanks for this release. I noticed that in the Changelog someone forgot to change "0.4.16 → 0.5.x (Not yet released)" to "0.4.17 → 0.5.x (Not yet released)". Can you fix it please?

Re: [Mod] item_strings [item_strings]
Yes, it is useful for the "/giveme <ItemString>" command because it is hard to remind the <ItemString> of each item.

Re: [Mod] rotation [rotation]
Yes, it is useful when you try to set precisely the angle of the first person view camera in order to take some screenshots in-game. By using the "/teleport" command and the "/rotation_set" command together, you are able to take screenshot from an exact location at a specific cam...

Re: Minetest World Manager
I base64-encode the encrypted password because that's how passwords are stored in Minetest. In Minetest World Manager, in order to check if the provided raw password is matching to an existing player, I compare the passwords stored in the "auth.txt" file with the provided raw password that...

Re: Minetest World Manager
As far as I know, base64 is not encryption but encoding. Encoding transforms data into another format using a scheme that is publicly available so that it can easily be reversed whereas encryption transforms data into another format in such a way that only specific individual(s) can reverse the tran...

Re: Minetest World Manager
SRP is not yet supported by Minetest World Manager.
However, I have worked on SRP in order to understand how it works [1].
I have successfully used SRP in a test program but it is not yet implemented in Minetest World Manager.

OK, so we just have to follow this issue: https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/4151 . Indeed, it seems th...
