Re: [Mod] Nudger [git][nudger]

Well, I think I've added all the features it needs now.
And refined it as far as possible.

[Mod] Nudger mini [git][nudger_mini]

Rotates nodes in three dimensions. It fulfils the same role as screwdriver, but differently: * Intuitive, player-relative rotation. * Every orientation obtainable from any side. * Ignores invalid nodes. recipe: default:copper_ingot group:stick This is a minimal version of nudger , which has addition...

Re: Flow bug (0.4.10)

I wonder if it is this bug: https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/3263 Thanks for the link, I didn't know about that repo. These do appear to have the same underlying causes. For the default/river water examples, https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/3263 I don't have river water, but t...

I would be interested to know whether this happens in newer versions as well.

Flow bug (0.4.10)

I haven't found this posted yet. Liquids cannot flow over different liquids eastward (i.e. from the west, the last neighbour checked). To demonstrate if you have no other liquids, disable lavacooling and use default water and lava. Place one on top of the other, and it will only flow in three direct...

[Mod] Nudger [git][nudger]

Nudger is a tool for manipulating node orientation and form. * Rotates nodes in three dimensions using player-relative operations. * Stores a node's absolute orientation and applies it other nodes. * Cycles through nodes registered as alternative forms of a single functional node. For example, stair...

Re: [Mod] Node Update Alert [git][nua]

New companion mod added. See top post.
It is now possible to experiment with nua without writing your own nua-aware code first.

Re: [Mod] Droplift [1.0][droplift]

Had a quick look and like it. Minor issues: remove obsolete ", even if they are defined as non-liftable (see "Options" below)" from README.md. remove '("drop" = "__builtin:item")' from description.txt. I actually did want drops to go straight up (barring 'magn...

Re: [Mod] Droplift [1.0][droplift]

That would be fine, thanks. I would also recommend someone examine a particular part of the code. Specifically, near the bottom (twice I think), goes something like "local fncopy=fn" ... "local r={fncopy()}" ... "return unpack(r)" It was intended as futureproofing, and ...

Re: [Mod] Droplift [1.0][droplift]

Thanks for the interest.
Yes I have noticed that suggestion is a feature of these forums (and I've sidestepped the other one).
I'd be happy to do so, but some crises will have me tied up for a while unfortunately.

Nice models :)

Does the mod include autonomous behaviours and spawning?

Tameable with useful abilities would be cool too ;-)

Re: [Mod] Biome system experiment [30-biomes]

Excellent!

My only advice is not to force yourself into providing all the extra geography, nodes, textures, effects etc. up front.
Just provide a robust system so the community can be inspired to flesh out the details for much more inventive and well-discussed variety over time.
