The wiki was closed down to non-players due to a doxxing incident, where someone sent vague threats to someone on my server. As much as I want to keep the stuff open, the amount of such incidents is forcing me to keep the entire server ecosystem as closed as possible as my players' safety comes firs...

That's because your section contains a switch. you can only advance to the next section if there are only two tcbs in the section.

Yeah, this conference was basically just composed of past contributors of advtrains, to discuss the roadmap for the next months. I think the next conference will be open towards the general public.

The meeting will sadly not be broadcast online, since it will be held outdoors or in a public place, like a restaurant and it would be impractical to broadcast it.

I will see if I can add a mode that makes the tram go slower if it spots pedestrians and rings a bell to make them get out of the way.

I'd suggest a very simple approach: Everything that is not a full opaque cube does not collide; and the players are responsible for making it look realistic. If we make fancy collisions, it should be an option. IMHO this should be made configurable. The new system adds a lot of weirdness and breaks...

the measurements of the basic trains and the moretrains are different, so a conversion would inevitably screw up some setups, such as carefully measured stations and passing loops.

The trains got split out, as there are higher quality trains available, such as the moretrains modpack, see viewtopic.php?f=9&t=24112

An sich sollte das komplett problemlos klappen. Hast du advtrains von git.bananach.space heruntergeladen? Es hat nämlich jemand advtrains für seinen Server so modifiziert, dass dort die Züge nur in der Nähe eines Spielers fahren.

The instability problems seem to be mostly solved, they were related to objects being accessed after being deleted. One of the mysterious "hard crash" segfault bugs also seems to have been solved, however, there's a second one I discovered through use of gdb.
