Re: Can I copy results from cammond console?

Why you need this? Hello. I want to know if it is possible to to copy the results inside the command console of minetest after typing the command. NOT THE COMMAND. For example, if I type something like "\item_strings_get doors" the command console gives me results and I want to copy those ...

Re: Android Compiling

Try to read the error message please.
You need sdkmanager to download some build tools or accept some licences.
If you're using a linux with graphics, try to use Android Studio to fix those bugs. (where the sdkmanager has a gui interface).

Good luck!

Re: Android arm64-v8a network bug?

I tested newest stable 0.4.x code, commit 426b5d3149f5fe510322a26cc8e67ba6de08d4a6 The armeabi-v7a version is OK but the arm64-v8a is slow. I also check the the F-Droid and Google play apk, they don't build the arm64 apk.(only armeabi-v7a) I also build with the new 5.0.x code, and change the ndk ver...

Re: A good idea to improve the sub game loading time.

Save the internet transfer time will save a lot, I think. Zip the subgame assets and send one zip file to the client :>. The assets loading time in the client side may not save a lot(all files in a database VS all files in the filesystem), because we just load a few hundreds or thousands of small fi...

Re: A good idea to improve the sub game loading time.

Maybe one simple way is just zip the subgame assets and transfer one zip file to the client.

A good idea to improve the sub game loading time.

Now an MT client must get lots of subgame images files from the server or a HTTP server, and load them one by one(lots of file open operation). This will cost a lot of time. Here is my idea: Server: Merge all the images to some big images. When you finish your subgame, run a script to merge all the ...

[Fix laggy] SendBlocks/MapBlockMesh optimization?

When I meet laggy in Minetest, I can usually see this 232323232.jpg In face, players can't see the underground world, so on the server side, there's no need to send those block data to the client if the block's depth is too big, and on the client side, don't make block-meshes for those blocks, they'...
