Re: Migrating the Minetest Wiki into Git?

I disagree with the proposal. First, moving to GitHub means even more pointless dependence on a quasi-monopoly (Microsoft). No. As long as it is a plain Git repo, it can be moved/mirrored to any Git hoster anytime. As we used GH for the main repo, it is just reasonable to use it for the doc repo as...

Hello an idea that I have been thinking about for some time, for the creative mode, is to be able to trash a stack by clicking on it eg: CTRL+ LEFT MOUSE BUTTON I was realizing it a while ago but I could not finish it,and I lost the file, I was doing it for unified_inventory ,but it could be useful...

Re: Attachment preview introduces redundancy

We somehow need to get people to stop using the [img] hack which is an incorrect usage of phpBB to begin with, and to switch to simply using the inline attachment feature like it is intended to be used. Unfortunately this "hack" used to be the only correct widely known usage in the past.

Attachment preview introduces redundancy

Up until the introduction of the attachment preview, users had to include attached images in their posts for them to be visible. Now that we have the preview, images are almost always visible twice. I have resorted to not including the image in the post anymore, a better solution might using the &qu...

Still, I will never use it. Even if I wanted to (🤮), there is no binary released for PowerPC linuxes. You don't need "PowerPC binaries". In fact, running it in a browser is preferrable as a kind of sandboxing. The official binaries use Electron, which is effectively a stripped down browse...

I'd call them cheaters. Many don't even know how to "hack" or "script" a client themselves at all and just grab a "hacked" client (there are popular ones I won't name).

Discord is where FOSS users are and where FOSS supporters don't go.
A few questions:

- Are supporters not users?
- Do you consider developers supporters?
- Is Discord where FOSS developers are?
- Are developers not users?

All in all an overgeneralization.

Also: are there system requirements? If I make a game that will run slower on comparatively low-end computers, does that negatively affect my score?
I wouldn't exclude the possibility that the jury decides to award bonus scores to more efficient games.
