You can add a line like mob_name=(chance,count) to your minetest.conf to override the chance and count for each mob you wish to adjust. Look at the api.txt file in the mobs mod folder for details. the default values for chickens are: mobs_mc:chicken=(17000,3) to have less chickens spawn less often ...

It also removes minecarts, and considering I have a huge railway system this would be an expensive thing to do! If one of you guys finds a way, please let me know.

Howdy! Is there any way to reduce the spawn rates of animals? I'm okay with the amount of monsters I get, but my world is getting overran by wolves, sheep, cows, rabbits and pigs. Hold up, can't you make your item practically unbreakable by changing the multiplier to something like 0.00000000001 in the init.lua?

Haia, I fixed up rails not converting, coloured steel tools to correspond to new copper and mese tools, coloured the yellow mese textures that weren't converted to green (i think i got all of them, altho i'm not sure entirely) got a nice map overlay from somewhere, forgot where + few other tiny thin...

I simply brute-forced the above code. No idea how it works, but it seems about right in-game. I run into this error whenever i try to play with this mod. I changed the name of the folder to toolranks, and i DID launch the game, but whenever I broke any node it instantly crashed the game. Any ideas? :(
