Re: Post your screenshots!
I made a mistake: https://www.satoshiupload.com/images/W2kbWF4Rvt.png (That red node is an unknown node, so it should say "unknown node", not "no texture". This bug will be fixed in the next version.) I noticed that earlier. I thought it was a feature. Nice to know it's actually...

Re: [Server] LinuxForks (Lots of trains)
The server is running a modified 5.4.0 version of minetest. I wouldn't reckon that a newer version should be used since the current one is running very stably and with hardly any downtimes, along with the patches applied in the mods we're using. In fact, to use the dev branch to run a public server ...

Re: Update:
And I would like to mention that the texture farming_sunflower_bread.png is actually a (noticeable) modification I made from ethereal_banana_bread.png in ethereal mod, but I couldn't find the license and authorship of said file.
Thanks for pulling the new crops!

I can't register or log in to the server The wiki does not tell how to register. The server can sometimes disallow new registrations until a moderator is online for security reasons. Try to sign up again later and use the same credentials to log in to the wiki. Also note that usernames are case-sen...

Re: [Mod] Farming Redo [1.46] [farming]
@Felfalido - Apologies, I thought that OgelGames made the textures himself, I will gladly add your name to the license.txt file and give credit where it's due... Which license type would your images come under, CC0? also may I use your other crops and recipes ? Please feel free to to add pull reque...

Oh, well... I see that OgelGames used the same textures I designed a year ago for my farming fork without crediting me... that's pretty nice... https://notabug.org/OgelGames/farming/src/master/textures/farming_blackberry.png https://gitlab.com/Felfa/farming/-/blob/master/textures/farming_blackberry....

Re: [Poll] How did you find out about MT?
Readed about Minetest for first time from a blog about free (libre) software some time ago. But I never played Minecraft actively (probably once or twice about 7 years ago) or other sandbox games. I never got attention of this kind of games until 2013 or so, when I started to hear about open source ...

The results are in on the vote for glider controls: It's a tie. You have all failed spectacularly. Feel ashamed of yourself. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!! Since I'm the one maintaining this, I'm deciding to leave the controls the way they are. No strong feelings one way or the other I think it's ok with l...

Re: Post your Minetest story
I've heard about Minetest first time some years ago (mid 2013 probably) from a blog about FLOSS, but it never caught my attention until 2017-06-28 15:26:06.425267560 (according to the oldest file I have on my ~/.cache/minetest/media folder), when I started playing Minetest; so yeah, I started with c...

As @KCoombes pointed out, Minetest [url=https://github.com/minetest-mods/currency] mod gives you a basic income of 5 Minegeld notes every in-game day if you build or dig.

Re: [Server] Linuxworks Next Generation (Lots of trains)
The risk of griefing remains because any player w/o teleport priv can still teleport to anywhere using teleport pads or teleport flasks. Perhaps it needs another more complex craft recipe to avoid new players making use of them. At least they can no longer teleport to other players.

If you want something similar to MS Paint, but more advanced, try Kolourpaint.
If you want a good alternative for Paint.NET, give a try to Pinta.
