Re: Public Remote Media Server Project

It's true that my media server sends a lot unneeded data. My Problem was just that your media server doesn't contain all medias which is partly impossible because some old images doesn't exist in any git repo. That's the reason why I created my collection of medias. It contains all skins from here ...

Re: Minetest mapserver

What is this. mapserver.enable_crafting See: https://github.com/minetest-tools/mapserver/blob/master/doc/mod.md#installing-and-configuring-the-bridge-mod If you want to enable craftable mapobjects (poi, labels, trainblocks, etc) you can enable the setting in your minetest.conf (defaults to false)

I have used and liked it but still trying to get players to be seen on the map. Last time you had problems, i asked you a question you haven't answered yet: The "response code 500" is an error case though... Alternatively: can you describe your setup? (sqlite/postgres, mods, version, etc)...

Re: Serious limitations of minetest.deserialize

minetest.deserialize has a serious limitation: It will not work if you try to deserialize a table with more than 2¹⁶ entries under luajit and 2¹⁸ entries under regular lua. This can be a serious issue with mods that need to store large amounts of data, such as advtrains. Are there any known workaro...

Are you able to "copy" the minetest server on a test-instance (with the minetest-binary, world and all the mods/data)? You could use valgrind there if you don't want to use that in "production" :P Maybe just the minetest-binary and a test-world, maybe the memory-leak can be repro...
