Waiting for the developer to address the pending issues about this mod, the placement rotation can be sort of overcomed using my own twist at screwdrivers, which also extends the "copy-rotation-from-pointed-to-node" to all nodes that can freely rotated: https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic...

When you call on_rotate, you're supposed to pass the new param2 value, not the current one. Hello there 12Me21, it's been a long time since I last touched the code of my mods, and I honestly can't remember what the problem was with that on_rotate callback or whether there is a problem at all there ...

There's a simple reason to this: the param2 of glass make them liquid tanks. You need to set param2 to 0. Yep, that was silly me rotating all nodes without checking whether they were allowed to rotate at all. It has been fixed some time ago by checking for "facedir" in paramtype2 (which n...
