Re: [Mod] Meshport (Minetest Mesh Exporter) [meshport]
Ok was just curious i use worldedit but no obj import/export options only .we, versus just using lua scripts to load .obj. Also .obj to .vox to load into mtseditor then export .mts into world is the other option. Not sure I understand. I haven't used mtsedit, but from the readme it appears you can ...

Re: [Mod] Meshport (Minetest Mesh Exporter) [meshport]
Thanks! I won't be adding an option to import an OBJ back into Minetest as too much information is lost in conversion, but you can use another mod like WorldEdit to export and re-import the same region.

Re: MapEditr: The Fastest Command-Line World Editor
Hello, Mapeditr does not work correctly with Maps from 5.50 or newer... no Zstd Compression. No Errors, but newly generated (Zstd-compressed) Blocks could not be read by mapeditr and are simply missing. It would be really nice if this could be updated. Thanks, I wasn't aware of the mapblock seriali...

Re: [CSM] Color-Coded Chat Messages [chatcolor]
How do you activate the mod or what are the commands? How can I find the GUI? Hi! The GUI is accessed via the .colors command, and there are other commands as well ( .setcolor , .listcolors , etc.). You can find more information with .help or at the GitHub repository. If that doesn't work, the mod ...

Re: [CSM] Color-Coded Chat Messages [chatcolor]
Update! It was brought to my attention that this mod was completely broken on Minetest 5.5.0. I have since fixed the critical bugs and added a few new features. Notable changes include: Changed .gui to .colors . Support for colored DMs and separate join/leave colors. Support for chat messages with ...

Re: [Mod] Morelights [mp_morelights]
If you could make the Grass Light able to grow things which grow on normal grass when you plant them on it, that would be worth something. It would need to give off more light in order to make them grow. Being able to grow things on grass lights is a sensible idea, but I'm reluctant to change the l...

Re: [Mod] Meshport (Minetest Mesh Exporter) [meshport]
Update! I've released version 0.2.0, adding support for liquid, flowing liquid, plantlike, rooted plantlike, and framed glasslike nodes. Area selection is now easier, too, with an additional tool for setting corner positions and markers to visualize the selected area. More details can be found on t...

Re: MapEditr: The Fastest Command-Line World Editor
sounds pretty cool (havn't tested yet though) looking at the replace/delete nodes functions, maybe being able to read from an input file might be useful. It might be easier to create a list of nodes to be manipulated in a file than typing every node name into a command line. Thinking about that - h...

Re: [Mod] Auroras [auroras]
Oh, okay. It doesn't seem to have a workable API either, since you can't pass a function to skybox.register to set the sky dynamically.FreeGamers wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 16:51Yeah that was the one. But I used this version from pandorabox's git

Re: [Mod] Auroras [auroras]
Seems nice, I was hoping the sky would be animated, but it still looked nice. Unfortunately it did not seem to be compatible with another skybox mod (called "skybox") I was using called and they were fighting to apply their sky to the biome. Thanks for trying it out! I didn't make the sky...

I also changed some craft recipes, added some inventory images, and generally cleaned up and modernized everything. Edit: I messed something up, v1...

Re: [Mod] Meshport (Minetest Mesh Exporter) [meshport]
How optimized are the meshes that are created? I see you mention about using the highest priority face, do you also optimize vectors and and normals? The meshes are not optimized much, if you mean reduction of geometry. Cubic nodes share corner vertices and unnecessary interior faces are ignored; h...
