Hi Kay27,

Can you remove the protection blocks added by the user 'spawn' on your RG survival server? If you check the logs on 8/01/2021 around 17:10 GMT onwards one of the users who had access to the account forgot the password.

Aside from what i've started to do which is export the trees to .mts files, is it possible to spawn v6 versions of trees on v7/v7-like worlds?

Minetest is installed via a 'snap' package in Ubuntu, I think you'll find your files somewhere in the ~/snap folder. Hi Kay27,

Mining protection block isn't possible, is this a bug? Because the protection mod is used with MTGame it the blocks can be mined and retrieved.

I started project degrief, where I'm building public hostels from what remains of previously griefed houses.

The first of the hostels is just south-west of spawn.

As I stated before, imho MTG should be abandoned. It looks like a bad Minecraft clone with less features and it gives Minetest a bad name (and bad advertising). It's not as near as becoming a complete game in the next months, so why bothering? The community can create games on its own, and core dev...

You can't add biomes to v6 but you might be able to achieve what you want using ores and the right noise params. Thanks Eran. Currently, there is no easy way besides something like a ridiculous solution with voxelmanip. I believe paramat is working on a new version of v6 that uses the modern biome ...

What version of MTG are you developing on? I've tried using lib_ecology on 4.17 and 5.1.1 and I get no new trees new biomes etc.
