I would also consider using a password manager such as keepassxc to safely store your passwords. This will also make it easier to create strong unique passwords for each server you play on - which you should absolutely do!

To use a texture pack server-side, place the texture pack you want in the textures folder of your .minetest folder and rename the folder of the texture pack itself to "server" without the quotes.

Minor update:
- fixed several bugs - namely the one with Ma and Pop's furniture that causes the tv and fireplace to sound off globally.
- updated several mods to the latest version

I added a domain name for the server at cabinfever.zenwillow.website. I have absolutely no idea why i haven't added one sooner as I had some domain names just sitting around :/ In any case, you will probably have to bookmark the server again.

Just a quick update
Haven't had time between work and school to do much other than keeping the server running, but I believe I do have a week off - at least from college anyways, I am still working full-time - next week so I should have some time to do some work on the server (hopefully).

have you maybe considered using a git site to host your project? It would make things easier on you by removing the need to constantly update the download link and it will give others a chance to view the source before downloading the game.

Would you consider posting your game on a git site like github, gitlab or notabug so people can see the source code before they download it?

Well, there isn't anything like that that's usable from the client side, but there is a mod called snowsong that changes the game's sounds. You won't be able to use it on someone else's server, but you can use it on your singleplayer worlds
