Re: Problems with texture scaling/orientation since Minetest

1) The nodes are rotated to the walls like with Minetest 0.4.17. But the texture isn't rotated in Minetest 5 anymore. Bug or feature? Bug, it's being tracked here: https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/8358 2) The node definition and the texture isn't scaled by the parameter visual_scale anym...

Re: [Modpack] WorldEdit [worldedit]

Hi Sfan ... is there a documentatin of the new command at worldedit. In the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuShYedEfkU you use some functions that are not working in the newest version, downloaded with Minetest 5. Brushes are part of WorldEdit if you download the git version. The other comma...

Re: Minetest 5.0.0 will not announce to servers

Sounds like you have a different issue than mine. Try using serverlist_url = servers.minetest.net in your minetest.conf file. I don't think servers.minetest.net/announce works anymore. The use of serverlist_url = servers.minetest.net is not necessary as it is the default value. Usually, there is al...

Re: Blocks don't add up

Dug some dirt, gravel, stone, and coal (multiple of each). All showed up only once in the inventory , even after digging some more. They disappear regularly from the world, but neither increase their number in the inventory (which is not shown) nor appear as a rotating block. I can put them into th...

Re: "Celines Wildes Land" not listed in Servers.list

Your domain resolves to 124.121.71.96 currently.
I am seeing announcements from 124.121.106.97, your server is reachable over port 30001 on that IP too.

Minetest requires at least C++11 support, your MinGW version is too old.

Re: Logic behind the server list ping?

Ping can be useful as a metric. But only if it is calculated from that particular machine's perspective. The server lists ping wasn't originally meant to be used for display purposes in the Minetest. Someone wanted to add ping indicators and it happened to be exposed in the JSON, so they went ahead...
