Re: ERROR[CurlFetch]: ... code 500

Any new idea about that ... one of my servers become announced (with the port 30001) then I started the other one which is not accounced with that error. ERROR[CurlFetch]: servers.minetest.net/announce not found (HTTP response code said error) (response code 418) Should be fixed, sorry about that.

Re: Export part of world from client side

There happens to be a feature that saves all of the map you see to a local world.
You can then open this map in singleplayer.

Here's the relevant entry in the example config: https://github.com/minetest/minetest/bl ... e#L319L321

Re: [Modpack] WorldEdit [worldedit]

No that's intended. "the latest state of development working correctly" does not mean that the latest dev snapshot works with Minetest stable. If you want you can use the 1.2 release of WorldEdit, but (as I've said numerous times already) it's easier to just remove / disable the worldedit_...

Nope, unfortunately not.

Implementing reliable and working undo functionality is not so easy, which is why this wasn't done (yet).

Re: ERROR[CurlFetch]: ... code 500

Sounds like a bug in the serverlist code, I'll investigate this.

Edit: Haven't seen the error since adding some debugging code.
No idea what went wrong here, but it should work again.

Re: can't announce to Minetest serverlist

Should be fixed, please try again.
Also make sure that your server has server_name set and the ports are forwarded correctly.

Re: [Modpack] WorldEdit [worldedit]

I didn't see that bit about 0.4.16-dev in the docs - now running without that brush... Yeah, you can just disable the brush mod if you don't need it. Where does it store which of those modpack-directories to use ? It doesn't, having multiple modpacks with the same contents is not supported (and cau...

Re: ERROR[AsyncWorker-1]: servers.minetest

Sounds like a Minetest bug that happens when no Internet connectivity is available, I suggest filing an issue on Github so a dev can look at this.

Re: Increasing rendering speed dramatically ?

If you enable wireframe mode you can see that Minetest already merges identical faces into planes to some degree. It only seems to do this horizontally and it's also bound by the size of one MapBlock (16x16x16) since those are turned into meshes separately. https://forum.minetest.net/download/file.p...
