Now there are chests! It's modified from the default minetest game chests with a few key changes: no more locked chests the opening and closing pitch shifts you can stack them on top of each other, they will still open with a node above you can mine them when there's items inside, they'll just drop ...

The code has a problem: It is setting eye offset for every player every global step (10 times per second) whether or not eye offset needs changing. A table should store the sneak state of each player and eye offset only changed when it needs to be. I updated the code in the main post to only change...

More updates to Minecarts! Now there's hills and if you right click a minecart, it turns into a "furnace" minecart! Still trying to get a few bugs fixed, but it's usable :D :D

Another update! Physical minecarts! You can push them around! the items to test are minecart:minecart, nodes:rail_straight, and nodes:rail_turn. :D

@Wuzzy, I found a glitch. If your inventory is full the items that are around you within the item magnet will permanently be in the do_not_collect state, or whatever the variable is, and you cannot collect them until the server restarts. I'll look into the code tomorrow to see what's happening then ...

Wuzzy you're a genius! Now we can build mods for your game mode like nether ores! Or bolt the Aether onto your mod using the in engine float lands! I'm going to try to rewrite the main menu to use your game mode as the sole game!

Good idea. I think, you don't use the Perlin noise correctly because of all these sharp edges. I can't find the mistake in your code. I only remember that I was having similar bugs. I'd advice making the island more sparse, so they won't cast so many shadows. Also make them more flat to make it eas...

Creating Sky biome?

How would I go about creating sky biomes?
I tried everything and they still will not spawn for me.

I had to resort to this https://github.com/oilboi/Aether/blob/m ... nit.lua#L3 to create floating island "biomes" in the sky.

If anyone knows how it would be appreciated!
