I think it would be better to have these items go beyond 99 in case you run out of room in your inventory. Later on you can just split it like usual for your desired craft requirements

Looks to me like the fault lies in the awards mod, as digging a tree fern works fine as far as I know... If I had to guess, I'd say awards can't handle ferns auto-collapsing when dug. In the meantime, you could just disable the ferns component in plantlife to get around it. That sounds fair I thoug...

Would you be referring to the bag that's built in to the minetest game? Because I wanted to also have backpacks that I can physically place and store in my inventory and chests.

Amazing! Thank you. It all works now. I would love to get into working with LUA and also how or what do you use for editing that can tell you the line number? the only thing i can do for now is view the lines in github and use notepad to open the file to edit.
