What do I need to do?!?!?! This is killing me!

Shouldn't gameplay be the focus here? And not just the things you can do, but how it all feels . In Minecraft, everything is fine-tuned to have a specific mood to it: dropped entities float, the sounds blend well, options for basically everything. I think the biggest part of having a fine-tuned game...

"Quickstart" modpack so a new user does not have to hunt through the forums trying to figure out how to fit all this together, complete with hunger, decent inventory, and all the basic expansions.
