Re: [mod] Lighten wielded item [wielded_light]
Hello, Great mod! It makes cave exploring and mineshaft digging a lot better! But it may be having a slight issue with the new version of minetest v5.8. This never happened in v5.7, but my lighted helmet appears to be lighting up the water node around me. When I remove the helmet, the effect stops c...

Re: [Mod] Steampunk Blimp [steampunk_blimp]
Oh no you didn't! I KNEW someone was going to make an airship mod eventually. I can't wait to try it! These look more like actual blimps that could fly in real life instead of the final fantasy airships (with tiny balloons and fans) that cannot. Just looks like its going to be too much fun...

Re: [Mod] Tinted Glass [nextgen_tinted_glass]
Nice! Looks awesome! Thank you, but I'm still an amateur! I was hunting youtube videos about underwater bases, and I've seen some way more complex and technical than mine. I always go for simple = functional. But I use this guy named Richard Jeffries for inspiration. What he builds is amazing. I ca...

Re: [Mod] Tinted Glass [nextgen_tinted_glass]
I'm glad you don't mind! =) But this forum rejects my 1080p screenshots but doesn't seem to mind them if resized. So I just resize them online, takes a couple seconds... I like how the lights do not light up the whole area underwater. I'm no expert at designing underwater bases but am working at imp...

Re: Auto-dig
That is kind of like the woodcutting mod where you shift-click the bottom node of the tree, and it cuts the whole thing down for you. I can't go back to the old way. Ever since I got hooked on the automatic method, its hard to want to go back and chop every last node yourself.

/clearmobs command
Hello, I just want to make a friendly suggestion for a server command. I've been trying to find a way to delete mobs only with the /clearobjects command. I was going to suggest "mobs" as a command argument for /clearobjects or just a /clearmobs command. The reason is because the command al...

Re: [Mod] Nautilus [nautilus]
I just have one more question. For about three days, I've been trying to see if there is a way to make the nautilus resistant to the /clearobjects command. I am only running a single player server, but I use this command to get rid of the excess mobs. Unfortunately, it also deletes the nautilus as ...

Re: [Mod] Tinted Glass [nextgen_tinted_glass]
I'm going to try this for an underwater garden that I'm getting ready to add onto my main base. I already tested the tinted glass, and I like it. Just my thought, but I had the impression thats what obsidian glass was until I tested it the other day. I wanted to use this for my garden so the light d...

Re: [Mod] Farming Redo [1.46] [farming]
I tried changing it to .005, but no effect. I changed it in the farming.conf_example file but did not change the filename. Do I need to change the extension to just .conf for it to work? update: I think I answered my own question. I tried it, and for sure it worked for garlic and artichoke. And the ...

Re: [Mod] Farming Redo [1.46] [farming]
Has anyone ever had a gaming session where they could not find one particular crop? In a past game, I could not find chili pepper. It was so frustrating I finally used the /give command. In my current game, I cannot find garlic. I have checked every biome and looked everywhere I can think of. In pas...

Re: [Mod] Nautilus [nautilus]
REALLY cool mod! I'm using it now, but I wanted to ask if there is any way to pick it up and move it? Also, is there any command to locate it if you lose it? just destroy it, and it will drop an item. But: you lose the color and fuel. It don't have any locate command at the moment :) Ok thank you! ...

Re: [Mod] Biofuel [0.6] [biofuel]
I've got one word for anyone who wants to expend less effort to create biofuel... GARLIC! It only has to grow to stage 5. You 3 bulbs per plant on average. There are 8 cloves in a bulb, so you see how this can quickly add up. Then all you have to do is use the cloves for the biofuel, and you get a t...

Re: [Mod] Regrowing Fruits [regrowing_fruits]
Just a quick update: I archived the newer github version and deleted it, then went to the Mods section in Minetest and downloaded the old version. I was totally wrong. The mod works just fine with plantlife! I think the reason I thought it did not work is because the fruit does not tend to regrow on...

Re: [Mod] Regrowing Fruits [regrowing_fruits]
I just took a long look at other mods I'm using after you said that. I think it's the plantlife modpack interfering with your mod working. I just did some testing... I downloaded the new copy from github and installed it in Minetest. I created a new world but took out plantlife and left all other m...

Re: [Mod] Regrowing Fruits [regrowing_fruits]
Hello philipmi, You said to let you know if anyone found bugs in this mod. I just wanted to say I have had this mod installed for the last 2 weeks, and it has not regrown any fruit on trees. I tested it on an oak tree and a plum tree. I'm not sure why it didn't work. Looked at the init.lua script, ...

Re: [Mod] Regrowing Fruits [regrowing_fruits]
Regrowing Fruits https://git.sp-codes.de/philipmi/regrowing_fruits/raw/branch/master/screenshot.png Info This mod causes fruits on trees from various other mods to regrow like apples in the 5.0 release of Minetest Game. If you placed the fruits by hand or removed the tree leaves, the fruits don't r...

esrgan vs xrbz
Well... I went and made another one. I used esrganx4 which is much better quality then the xbrz I used previously. You will notice the wood looks like wood now. It is not perfect. Not all trunk textures are lining up correctly, but the edges are better in general. Esrgan is used by topaz gigapixel a...

Re: Underwater Base Building
My sister used to really enjoy building underwater bases in MineCraft. I'm pretty sure that was how she spend most of her time. Have you ever heard of the game Subnautica? I recently purchased it so I could come up with some ideas to port into MeseCraft one day. Good luck. No I have not heard of th...

Re: Underwater Base Building
I have to be honest; I went with the sponge mod. I never heard about it before yesterday. I actually saw somebody using it in a video, but I thought the sponge was a native item to Minetest. Downloaded the mod right away, and it worked wonders. The problem I was having was the bucket method worked f...

Re: [mod] Air tanks [airtanks]
I just tried this for the first time, and I'm impressed. It's really cool to be able to stay underwater for a lot longer. I'm about to try building an underwater base again (second attempt, first one failed). This will come in quite handy.

Re: Underwater Base Building
Hmmmmm.... I have never tried that approach. I will definitely give that a go and let you know how it turns out! I'm just trying this in a singleplayer world right now. I want to try multiplayer maybe sometime but better work on my skills first. But seriously, thank you, and I will let you know how ...
