Thank You, "tinoesroho" & "tux_peng"
the "player_textures" mod that you suggested and link you provided (above)

Thank You for pointing me to the readme file. Although this is very useful to me also, I was speaking more in general about "noobs", questions asked, etc. I started on this point in my general reading of some of these Minetest topics, as I respect this open-source project and the game itse...

"Noobs"??? Honestly, do YOU learn from others, and actually ask questions like most folk..... or.....Do YOU just "automatically" know "everything" by some kind of electronic osmosis when You touch things??? I admit, there are some unthoughtful and crappy questions asked...

I agree with madchicken13, even if it is "disgustingly easy" to compile on ubuntu, not EVERY ONE who uses this linux version or any othe r OS automatically (osmosis) knows "HOW" TO. I am in my 40's, and have been working on and with PCs and MACS since i was 9 years old, and have ...

Thank you! I installed all 3 of these, that you described, in Minetest 0.4.3, in the "C:\minetest-0.4.3-win32\minetest-0.4.3-win32\games\minetest_game\mods" as stated. Although the interface looks and acts as described, showing "WorldEdit - Creative Crafting" as Inventory menus, ...

I have had luck with compiling it (stable) on my Ubuntu machine, and of course Windows build is ALWAYS favored...

Posting An Issues & Questions For 0.4.1 to Future Minetest

Hello All, I don't know if this issue was brought up already in recent posts, but MSVCR100.DLL is not present in the 0.4.1 Windows download of Minetest, so i copied over and used the file version from my previous 0.4.0 folder. Secondly, as a proud owner of MAC, Ubuntu & Windows PCs in my family ...
