Admittedly a bit late, but: Very nice looking mod. I wonder how a world with the mods of SFENCE will look like. Perhaps a server might adopt them and make them available for builders? I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't find any wild hives. Thought maybe it was because of a really old world, or mod conflict, so I made a brand new world enabled just the church_modpack and the mob_animals, and couldn't find any wild hives here either. The actual solution uses only one model for stationary and moving gears. The difference between moving and stationary nodes is only in animated/non-animated textures. if I understand right you wanna the gears to break if they are forced to rotate in the wrong direction but they should still rotate therefore they should be animated.
