Re: Background music mod
It's such an easily implemented option. This is pretty much a case of, "if you want it, then make it," particularly if it is so easy, and nothing available satisfies you. On the other hand, i would suggest that the minetest engine is far from the optimal choice for playing music. Just my ...

Also when Endermen pick items up they seem to duplicate the item, This has happened probably all the time for years, except when Endermen displaying the wielded object was turned off. that and they seem to be able to pick up flowers which should be impossible, Yes, see the reference. Endermen can e...

Bah, just announce you are restarting in some minutes. Or, do a restart at a scheduled time every day regardless of updates.

Re: [Game] XaEnvironment 9.2 [xaenvironment]
I don't really have an idea at the moment, but i did mention your water pressure code in mcl2 thread, and LMD said there was better code for this. https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?p=385389#p385389 I don't know if it works for your needs or not but maybe it helps? I need to play the latest re...

Re: MineClone 2 0.68.0+ on Minetest 5.3.0
That may have been partially my fault, as i improperly remembered the release notes on ~0.46 or somewhere around there. All decorations with objects like sign text and banner colors get fixed after restart, but named mobs do not. I thought they did, and said so when Kay was trying to tame the server...

Re: MineClone 2 0.68.0+ on Minetest 5.3.0
@Nicu: You can block the "effect" of the bookshelf to reveal lower levels of enchantments. It looks like you might be doing that, if carpets also work in mcl2 - assuming those are carpets, and not wool nodes in the floor. There's actually an optimal bookshelf configuration for doing this, ...

Re: MineClone 2 0.68.0+ on Minetest 5.3.0
Are you blocking your bookshelves? Because you should block blookshelves. Experiment with how many to block. Use torches or whatever. It makes no sense not to have a level-1 enchantment of any kind, but have bigger ones.

Re: [Abandoned] [Game] Hamlet's Quest "Valhalleluja" [3.2.2] [hamlets_quest]
if you entirely turned off the mod or removed it from mods folder, then you probably still just have entities saved in your map database which had spawned previously. That would be unknown entities/objects. (Punch them.) Chat complaining that "wolf/snake not exist" should not be happening ...

Re: MineClone 2 0.68.0+ on Minetest 5.3.0
Eh, damage was nearby to structures (south, southwest of current spawn area if i recall correctly), and a lot of it was probably pretty old, but i know the one area has active players in it. The bulk of the damage was endermen-style. If the other holes were griefers and not creepers, those griefers ...

Re: [Abandoned] [Game] Hamlet's Quest "Valhalleluja" [3.2.2] [hamlets_quest]
Hi timsoft. It is going to depend on the particular mod, but generally, you need to make sure you remove all references. E.g., for "wolves", you might not just need to remove a directory "/wolves", or a file "wolves.lua", there may be references in an init.lua, or api.l...

Shulker boxes are crazy broken. Here is a fix: mcl_mobitems_shulker_shell.png Or get it from a copy of mineclone 2. local S = minetest.get_translator("mcl_chests") local mod_doc = minetest.get_modpath("doc") local no_rotate, simple_rotate if minetest.get_modpath("screwdriver...

Yeah I was considering filling in the holes near the old spawn Ha, i spent a lot of time filling endermen and creeper holes anywhere unprotected while waiting around for endermen to spawn, or just if i happened to be in a mob-griefed area. If anyone would like help repairing a particular area, let ...

Re: [Game] MineClone 2 [0.68.0]
https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Rail It would work in mc if done properly. I don't know about mcl2 at this point, but overall it has a fair way to go to exit an alpha state, so it's probably on the list.
