Are Diamond Pickaxes Required to Mine Anything?

I'm wondering, because diamond pickaxes seem to just... not have any nodes that can only be mined with them. I would think Obsidian would be one, or Mese blocks, or something....

I've also tried going into the code to change the time it takes for the bar to change, but that isn't really a solution as while it does slow down how fast my temperature rises, it also slows down how fast my temperature goes down too.

I somewhat agree they are not needed in MTG, as with so much other stuff, but the important point is: it is just too disruptive to remove them. I totally agree that it is too disruptive to remove them, my idea is to give them another purpose. We could make it so that we could get get more saplings ...

I can't seem to make light grey dye; when I do the recipe it only makes normal grey dye. However, all the other dye recipes work fine.
