Re: MultiCraft Creative Server
I joined using a MT-0.4.16-AppImage client and get this message: https://i.postimg.cc/7PNzB9mR/multicraftform.png Is this a Joke? This server is on the Minetest-Serverlist and calls me an Unofficial Client? And promotes an unofficial client Didn't thought that we are no so far :( I am not surprised...

Re: Request / Project - Schematica.
My handle_schematics mod does that in some form already. There are no particular ghost nodes for individual blocks though. There are just two nodes: The "dig here" indicator (a red pick) and the scaffolding node. You can get a schematic beeing built out of these nodes if you place a handl...

Re: Request / Project - Schematica.
About time for a truly player-friendly schematic mod like this is being made. =) If opting for entity based ghost nodes I’d strongly suggest looking into how meshnode does a very similar thing. I've seen meshnodes before, but i dont really know how it applies as a ghost node... Maybe because of it'...

I'll take a look.GreenXenith wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 17:22If you use entities and a lot of visual tricks, you can support any node. Seems more reasonable in my book. Worth the head-scratching if you can get it to work.

Re: Request / Project - Schematica.
Those mods won't place ghost nodes though This is certainly possible. It's easier to do if you handle saving the schematics yourself. If you want to reuse existing schematics, you'll need to edit the existing schematic to replace normal nodes with ghost nodes - I'm not entirely sure how to do this....

Re: Request / Project - Schematica.
There are already several schematic mods. I suggest you look at them for inspiration, perhaps they are all you need :) https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?t=13116 https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?t=18515 https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=22794 I've seen them, they are ...

Request / Project - Schematica.
I've been thinking of minecraft mods that could be taken to minetest. One of them is Schematica. What is Schematica? Schematica is a minecraft mod that allows importing build schemes in 3d to your MC world. How does it work? Schematica should spawn "hologram" nodes representating the build...

Re: What's the deal with the forums lately?
Does anyone know what's going on? I've been getting errors for the past few weeks, and pages take extraordinarily long to load. At first, I thought it might've just been a glitch, but then I checked IRC and several others have mentioned the forums being inaccessible or slow. https://i.imgur.com/V7H...
