Thank you, the spawblocks work! I will try to make a Zoo mod with this in the near future. But first another animal mod will be released in the next days. This animals will be suitable for a Zoo too, and i want them to be integrated in the upcoming Zoo Mod.

i can't see any texture :(. Have you activated the Shaders Option? Without it the textures on the models will not be displayed correctly. Might it be easier to fix the problem with animals disappearing? I don't know how to fix this, I think it is part of Mobs Redo that mobs disappear after some time. Thanks for response! I figured it out how it works some hours ago, I used the folder structure of mobs_animal and edited the init.lua. I tested it: "max_block_send_distance" in config enhances the number of loaded blocks in the direction the player is moving/looking but the blocks behind your back wont be loaded more often, also if you don't move in a specific direction. Would be nice if some day minetest loads blocks fas...

Geforce RTX 2060 Super

I just wanted this settings for myself playing singleplayer and playing in LAN with a friend.

There are many settings to change in game, but i cannot figure out, wich i have to change, to make faster chunkloading possible.

I noticed, it doesn't matter how far i set the view distance, the chunks/odes where never preloaded, only when the player is crossing the terrain.
