I believe this is just an oddity (or maybe even bug?) of the Minetest terrain generator. I believe this happens because you generated this part in a snowy biome. I don't think there is anything I can do about it directly except ugly hacks (which I WILL NOT do). Talk to the engine developers to learn...

Version "libre10" released!
This improves the graphics of the trampoline and curtain a little.
The trampoline is now 3D and the invisible bottom is fixed.
The red curtain matches the color of red wool and is a little thinner.

This version updates the map. There was an area in the final level where you could fall into some water and no longer escape. This has been fixed by adding a ladder.

Probably an unlucky spawn. Minetest by default spawns you as close to (0,0) as it reasonably can (with some randomness involved). Is Mordor at (0,0)? Then that may be the reason.
