You're right, leveldb or Redis are better choice in a non-singleplayer environment.

Did you pick up your bones? AFAIK some xp where stored in there and given back upon retrieving one's bones. Bones were tied to an ABM or globalstep counter that made them disappear every 10 minutes on lava or acid, guess where i died mostly... A change i didn't like was made in the last period, the...

I don't know, i monitored what xp i had before i die and if i had 5000 i would had less than 4000 next spawn...

Really, dying was affected by a bug imho, you could lost many levels.

Hard way was telling something/ideas to rnd, everytime i suggested something he put a piece of my idea in the hardest way possible.

Confermo, Hex non ha la password, mi sono loggato con il suo nome utente e sono entrato.

Tu hai usato una password e senza non ti fa entrare (provato, nemmeno a me), lui non l'ha messa direttamente.

Appena entrato come Vertexal senza password, funziona alla perfezione

O Hex usava solo il nick senza password o aveva una password facile (hint: il nome utente)

Se non hai cambiato la sua password mi loggo come Hex.

Hardest server ever, a very big challenge.
Whoever wants to make a clone o use mods could clone owner's github before it goes away.

I recall to have a setting in minetest.conf that enabled going over 99 items in stack, used to max out to 999.

Don't remember what setting was or if was in older Minetest builds.

Discussions about the maximum permitted stack would be useless if it could be overrode in minetest.conf or world.mt

What server is that? I had once a problem in a server, crashed when i logd in, someway my user name data were corrupt in the server, perhaps for a faulty mod. Try to login with another user name or just add a letter to yours to change it, if the problem keeps going maybe is your client fault, maybe ...
