See this function (ported from PHP to Lua): function explode(div, str) if (div == '') then return nil else local pos,arr = 0,{} for st,sp in function() return string.find(str, div, pos, true) end do table.insert(arr,string.sub(str,pos,st-1)) pos = sp + 1 end table.insert(arr,string.sub(str,pos)) return...

Lua method to get Minetest master directory

I am having some issues with mod programming where this would be very helpful. On the Dev Wiki, I see minetest.get_modpath() for individual mod folders, but I need something that can get the "mods" folder itself. While at it, something like minetest.get_masterpath() might be useful to some modders a...

Great idea, but... why do you override mesecons core files ? I didn't know how to make a mod run independently. I think I've begun to figure it out though. Right now I'm squishing bugs related to communicating with Mesecons. Also, I think you should base this off mesewire.lua so there is no differe...

Thanks! It's specifically mese wiring inside the blocks. For example, to craft it you need three mese wires and six blocks of default material.

This is how the facade wires work compared to their 'naked' counterparts:

[Mod] Facades for Mesecons [0.1] [mesefacades]

This is an addon for Jeija's Mesecons mod, which is the Minetest equivalent of Red Power. It adds block versions of mese wiring (currently brick, wood-planks, and cobble). I created this because I wanted to have a house that could have powered mese lighting without the bulky wiring taking up half th...

Greetings, and question about compiling under Windows 7 64bit

Hello, I have just registered. I am a small-time programmer who has done (very small and unreleased) work on various projects, the most significant one being editing C++ files on Celestia to enhance things related to graphic rendering and crap - I never released it because I felt that the changes we...
