I just noticed that this hack wouldnt work as expected because it sets the whole world to a sandbox. Even the protected areas of other users. Another atempt: Restore the original mod (delete the changes I mentioned in the other post). Remove line 243 to 245 in default init.lua. These lines are: els...

Is there a way to compile Windows daily on Linux?
As the title asks, is there a way to compile the daily unstable for Windows while on Linux? If so could someone give me the instructions? Thank you.

Apparently random crash in server.
EDIT: it seems the player file had position coordinates of some insane values (well into the 10s of thousands). Resetting to 0,0,0 fixed it. I find this odd since the players real coordinates were of reasonable numbers just the other day and the player was within 400 blocks of 0,0,0 anyway. 05:59:10...

but it has a few issues. Are you kidding? This is the most buggy mod I can imagine! I've seen worse lol Another issue is I have mesecons installed and it seems the built in mesecons features of cart mod just don't work. As I said above the mesecon API changed a bit and I have to update it. Dunno wh...

Not sure where to post this (concerning daily builds for linux)
On this page: https://code.launchpad.net/~minetestdevs/+archive/daily-builds/ I have noticed that precise and oneiric are kept fairly up to date but natty maverick are not. Is there a known reason for this? I ask because a friend of mine runs a natty based server of minetest and I run a precise base...

Request to alter this mod slightly (no idea how to myself)
I'm not exactly a new Minetest user but I still cannot grasp lua. There is a mod that I used to use a lot awhile back called node_ownership but someone had modded it for me. In the updated node_ownership mod I cannot figure out how to edit it to do as needed. The alteration should be simple enough. ...
