Well, if it's too much, the player can turn off the Internet, go to multiplayer, compile the game without ads from the source code, or delete the game and buy Minecraft.

Re: [Server] LinuxWorks Next Generation (Lots of trains)

No ads? lol. Why is then the source code full of code to show ads? https://github.com/MultiCraft/MultiCraft/search?q=ads&unscoped_q=ads Because there is a check that disables ads in multiplayer. 1 ad every 30 minutes in a single player game, is that too much for you? void notifyServerConnect(bo...

Re: [Server] LinuxWorks Next Generation (Lots of trains)

Relax, man, nobody on LinuxForks ever had a problem just because they were using a mobile client. We cannot be called mobile-friendly because of the ton of heavy mods we're employing, but obviously not because we discriminate or persecute mobile users. And the avatar in question is itself a pun on ...

Re: [Server] LinuxWorks Next Generation (Lots of trains)

Afaik this server has not done anything against mobile users. Some moderators give users xban records for using non-official clients, but this does not necessarily mean anything against mobile users and/or non-official clients (there are also non-official clients for PC, and some users compile thei...

TenPlus1: Oh, that would be difficult :) I can do PR, and then you will say what to revert and what to accept. Or I can suggest you use Diff / WinMerge / your favorite utility for comparing code.

Re: [Mod] Mobs Redo [1.50] [mobs]

For a long time I have my fork mobs_redo inside MultiCraft_game. If TenPlus1 is interesting, I can make a PR of my changes. My formatting style is different (according to the Lua standard). However, perhaps there is something interesting here. https://github.com/MultiCraft/MultiCraft/blob/master/gam...

Re: Making a list of Minetest forks for Android and iOS

The information is absolutely correct. I have only 20 characters. MultiCraft really has that kind of copyright.
Minetest credits are fully provided in the game (Credits tab), on the official website and on Github.

Re: Making a list of Minetest forks for Android and iOS

Well, as I said, that was a long time ago. Now Apple has completely revised the rules. There are many applications that use the LGPL library.
In addition, I did not say anything about advertising. Or for you MultiCraft = Minetest + Textures + Ads? :)

Re: Making a list of Minetest forks for Android and iOS

the situation is that there is simply no player for the official Android client MT 5.0. Also, players cannot simply download the legacy version 0.4 on Google Play, and if they are random players who are not familiar with GitHub or the forum, having updated the game, they have lost the ability to acc...

Lejo, thank you. Statistics 5.0 shows the real situation. Look at the number of players .. Official MT is about 90% in this case.

I am sure that I will make a more elegant solution to this problem :) In addition, I need my servers only for testing the subgame. I get thousands of free testers who sometimes do such crazy things that I couldn’t even think about it. minetest_game, in fact, could not have worked for so long. My las...

Re: Making a list of Minetest forks for Android and iOS

I have one question: what will it give? Understand that on the Minetest server the most popular client is not Minetest?
