why does minetest restrict itself in the first place . . .
why not support as much as possible of what irrlicht allready supports out of the box on file formats.

things easily get complicated if you want to please all. Imagine a flower mod. How do you decide where they should grow? on default-dirt-with-grass? tried spaceship on ContentDB ?

Remember to rename the unpacked folder to spaceship if you download it manually.
There are a few other mods by Chiantos there too.

a glowing pickaxe? now that might be a neat feature for a mese tool.
that way mese tools need not be stronger than diamond coated ones but could start glowing when used instead to add value.
