If nobody else will, I am interested in this mod as a creative builder. However I am busy with other things in life right now, and I'll have to take a look at a later time.
...though I will say I'm already a fan of the fact that there is an undo button. :P

Re: Minetest and Wikipedia
That largely depends on where you are looking. Wikipedia is very useful when it comes to things like chemistry or biology, where facts abound. Or for history, where it is easy to cross reference with other encyclopedias or academic works. When you start getting to more and more subjective topics, th...

Very interested to see how this progresses. I like the idea of a dynamic environment, and even just the branches is a nice addition.

Re: [Game] XaEnvironment 9.99 [xaenvironment]
Sadly everyone but i have to quit moding complitly. For some reason modding causing some kind of stress that i cant handle (tried to fix that for a long time). It is understandable. Working on large projects like these cause burnout and are stressful, even if you're passionate about them. I hope yo...

Re: [Mod] Lumberjack [lumberjack]
When I start a game, then I do not have an axe. When I want to cut a tree with my bare hands, it tolds me "[Lumberjack Mod] You have to use an axe" How can I craft an axe, when I do not have an axe to cut the trees? I have never used this mod, but I believe it might be the case that you c...

Re: [Mod] Wilhelmines Animal World [animalworld]
Don't rush yourself. It's okay. I'm very pleased with your animals, both the ones that pop up randomly and the ones that will stay in my zoo. Good work. :) I echo this sentiment. You've made a really impressive mod in a very short time span, so don't overwork yourself and burn out. Make sure develo...

Re: Browsers aren't a good idea
if minetest supported JS we could use "react native" to port it to the iphone . I have an iphone as a symbol of my social status but it cannot install minetest. someone might start making connections related to that for every day it does not work Again, that's excess work, as you could ju...

Re: Browsers aren't a good idea
Browsers aren't a good idea, maybe apps like NodeJS and and ElectronJS can help us more than browsers. I think if you're saying that those things can help us more than browsers, you might not understand what they actually are... Minetest already has a native app for all distributions, so there is n...

Re: I'm gonna disappear for a while
Wow, of all the things this would turn into I didn't expect the focus to be yet another "Minecraft vs. Minetest" thread. My main reason for picking minecraft over other sandbox projects like vintage story etc. is that minecraft gets more new content in a month from the community than mine...

Re: [Mod] Minor Redefinitions [redef]
I am surprised I hadn't seen this mod earlier. This fixed a lot of problems I had with buildings in my world (stairs upsidedown and ladders being hard to see). Instant install.

Re: (Paleotest mod) Brachiosaurus texture trouble
Without having looked at the code, it looks like a problem with a texture path or something of that sort being incorrect. If you get no help in this thread, I suggest making a reply in the mod's thread, and the author might be able to help you, as they probably know the in's and out's of the mod bet...

Re: [mod] Islands - Experimental lua mapgen [islands]
https://i.ibb.co/09GWrYq/screenshot-20210205-103452.png Here's a screenshot. The texture pack is mtuotp with some modifications. The problem persists with or without tone mapping. It is on a regular IPS monitor. I downloaded the mod off of contentDB at the time of writing my message. Tbh, it looks ...

Re: [mod] Islands - Experimental lua mapgen [islands]
This looks like a lot of fun, I'll have to give it a try! Edit: After giving it a try, the novelty feels great. There are some things I missed in it: More trees/foilage: Jungle trees and jungle grass are great candidates for this mod to implement on some islands. The current trees are a little spars...

Re: [ADVENTURE/PUZZLE/PARKOUR MAP] "Escape The Sewer"
If you are using Blender's cycles renderer, you should look into denoising for your final renders. It makes this look miles better: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/render/layers/denoising.html Also the render could use some stronger lights, as the image looks very bland or cold, with not m...

Re: [Mod] Skeletons [0.4.0] [skeletons]
I think the blocky head looks more true to the Minetest character and are more fun than the more anatomically correct ones. If you really want to improve this, making the inside of the skull be darker would be good, as it is a bit hard to tell currently if you look at it just right (though that woul...

Re: HELP
I also could make another thread for this question (but I think this is more efficent. its like using the same car to go two places) Proper protocol is to use a separate thread for something that is completely unrelated like this, so the same thread does not keep getting bumped. And it is good to p...
Re: HELP
That question is out of place and weird for a whole host of reasons.
If you have found the help you need, stop bumping the thread with strange questions that should be asked in a separate topic or DM.
