official server claims
To be short here is the Idea: A system to give every registered player a claim inside a city for their house to be build and a claim for mining. Now the long description: To help player out I would suggest a main starting point for server registered Players to make a House inside a City. In the City...

I think that is getting way more complicated than it needs to be. The idea of storing the text in a file instead of in memory is a good idea though. Instead of using a text file I would suggest using a separate SQLite database and have another index based on something like the date or what map sect...

Well I had a problem with a new created world, not showing any custom textures. After relogging in my local game the World was Black, showing every Tile was without any textures. Even the sky was not there. Copying the missing texture Files in the custom Folder everything works fine. It could be a p...

Sandworm and Molebug
So here are my Ideas for special Monsters which uses some different paths than the Player can use. So a Sandworm is an Enemy for Desert areas. It can "swim" inside the Sand slowly. Is he near the Surface a small "dustcloud" shows where he is digging. He Attacks from the Ground an...

The Idea is good. Giving the Game a possibilitiy for special biomes with Boss Monsters would be awesome. A deep Cave with a forgotten Beast like a Dragon or a Giant Blob shooting slime would be a great Idea. I want to add some other Ideas: Towers. Filled with Monsters and on Top a Boss Creature. Sky...

Well it would be a good Idea, but there would be a problem: Books should inherit more text than a lone sign, bookshelves should support more books. To say it bluntly, it would surpass the Index of a sign or a chest really fast. A solution would be to use the Index of an Item as a footnote to link di...

Minetest Idea: Reworking the Trees
Hi! I am new to the Forum and thought I give you my thoughts of improvements Minetest could go. At first let me say I think Minetest should NOT copy Minecraft too much and go fast in another Direction and Mindset. PLEASE, lay down the Tar and Feathers and hear me out first... The differences I talk ...
