For some reason the recipes do not get added into the craftguide mod by jp. I fixed that just now. There has been a lot of major changes in craftguide recently, sorry. Are those recipes for/from aliases? I remember one of the craftguides has issues with this. Unfortunately I can't find it anymore. ...

Re: [Mod] Magicalities [Big WIP][magicalities]

There is a small misuse of craftguide.register_craft in your mod: the fields width and height are actually not required (this is automatically calculated).

See the API: https://github.com/minetest-mods/craftg ... ter/API.md

Re: [Mod] Crafting Guide [1.7] [craftguide]

This engine feature is not released yet, I should add a fallback. Sorry for that.

EDIT: fixed. A dev version of the engine is recommended for the best effect.

Re: [Mod] Crafting Guide [1.6] [craftguide]

Yes, the HUD is client-side, but the function calls from the server. That would be only 2 calls for the notification's back and forth versus tens of calls.

Re: [Mod] Crafting Guide [1.6] [craftguide]

I'd like to get feedbacks from actual server operators and online players about the smoothness of this sliding HUD element.

Or I could just add a new function (hud_move) to the engine.

Re: Using Minetest with young students

The point of this is to stimulate creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills with the kids while they also have fun. Can anyone recommend any appropriate mods or games for this? You can try Kidscode , a fork of Minetest, dedicated to education. (Disclaimer added by moderator: this user wo...

Re: Minetest is boring (clickbait) A few thoughts about Mine

Yvanhoe wrote:That's a good example to think about what you want people to be able to do with your mods.

No, this isn't a good example. The kidsbot has been made from scratch and it is vastly superior to whatever bot you can find on Minetest.

We do use LGPL or MIT mods and they remain open-source.

Just click through all item buttons in order, one click on each button. Sometimes the mode switches, sometimes it doesn't.

I think this is the expected behavior. Some items have no recipes, but only usages.

Thanks for your feedback :) The idea of recipe filters seems awesome, but how do players access these?
