[Help] How do I re-make my servers world?
I have a server running on Debian. I've made a first world and the server started. Just to test if it was running correctly. It works fine. But I want to re-make the world with mods, so I need to figure out how to add mods to the server via ssh instead of the GUI like in the client mode. So how do I...

How do I set up user accounts and make myself admin of my own server?
Okay, this feels like I'm asking a really dumb question, but I can't find whatever page on the wiki details this. I've been searching through forums, the reddit, and wiki pages like these: https://wiki.minetest.net/Setting_up_a_server https://wiki.minetest.net/Server_commands And I just can't find a...

Which rain mod provides the nicest rain?
I need some opinions. There's three (I think?) different mods that provide rain? I tried a couple some months ago and each had small differences. I remember one of them had a bug where it was only raining if nothing was above you, so if you had one floating block with nothing around it, and walked u...

Re: [Mod] Snow, rain, clouds (with sound) [snowdrift]
I just tried this and I really like it! It sounds pretty and the rain itself looks likes. I installed it and it works. But:
* It just seems to rain 24/7 without ever changing.
* The instant I go under another object it stops raining. When I go out again the rain starts back up.

I'm bringing back this dead thread to say that this one line of code still works on Trisquel 8. Thank you OP!

Just in case anyone cares, I tested this on a current Xbuntu machine and it works.

Is it possible to use a Raspberry Pi as a server?
The RPI does not have a lot of power, but then MT is a light game. I'm wondering because I have two RPIs and I'd love to use one as a server.

What's the minimum system resources for a Minetest server?
Would a Raspberry Pi work since it's not actually rendering anything? I also have an old Apple iBook G4 with a more than 1GHZ CPU and 1GB of RAM which is running Debian Linux, if that would work.

These are so great! Is there documentation on making these? I would love to add more animals onto this. I especially want a hermit crab. :) Most of the work consists of creating a model with the program blender plus a texture for that model. Once you got that ready, adding a new mob with mobf is pr...

AspireMint has written some models (including animations) and textures for new animals. The integration into mobf isn't perfect yet - getting a swan to swim isn't easy, and some other aspects are not perfect yet either. If you like to test it, get the mobf_animals repro from github. Rabbits come in...

allow a player to remove large amount of land or blocks all at once? I've found myself clearing lots of land one block at a time to make a good space to build something, and I started to wonder if there's a tool or something one can use to just delete huge swaths of blocks at a time. Thanks.
