When playing this, I will occasionaly get a segmentation fault. Nothing else in the debug log except that. (I did set it to verbose mode) Hmm...I'm not able to reproduce under windows. Could you run MT in debug mode (gdb) to get more informations? EDIT: Crash caused by wrong values for light calcul...

Just to say that I tested creatures mod from Blockmen, and it's pretty awesome : mobs are making noise, they bump when we hit them, and they even drop items.
Could be a cool base for LOTT mobs IMHO.

Cool mod, helicopter bugs on my comp (I randomly fall of helicopter, don't know why but always had that problem with that mod), but I like the floating islands because it multiply playable surface, it can be awesome on a very populated server.

Well I just thought of the throwing mod from PilzAdam that could help : when hitting a mob it could "throw" it with distance depending on weapon (0.5m with a wooden pickaxe, 3m with a diamond sword for example).

Don't know if it could be done though lol.

Oh ok, so maybe it would be more obvious to change troll's skin so we clearly see it's made of stone ?
Hope that it's possible for the bump thing, it's one of the only difference with MC that annoys me a little :s

Maybe actual durability is enough, bumping mobs when hit would be a greater improvement IMHO.
Oh and if they died in lava too because I trapped a troll and poured lava in hole and it just was walking around like "IDGAF" lol.

Watershed is really beautiful, will it be possible one day that we have a watershed mapgen instead of a lua mod ?

In fact it would be better IMHO if weapons were bumping mobs like in MC.
Because they just keep going over you and hit you again and again.
I'm not against a bit more difficulty, but it can be a bit annoying if you have to fight a mob and you can't move.

Ok so tried it again, found some caves while mining, and yes it looks more like trolls than bears lol.
They are pretty hard to kill, because they are very resistant, and weapons don't "bump" mobs when you hit it, so they always are in close combat.

It was some sort of bears, can't remember for orcs, I just killed a few that got into my cave while I was mining in it, I turned around and there was one just behind me, had an heart attack lol...then a few others felt.

Mobs sometimes attack me, sometimes not though. Some mobs are friendly & did not attack you. However sometimes evil mobs may also hesitate to attack you, that's because of a bug. A fix for it is already planned, but meanwhile the bug already creates an extra feature making not all hostile mobs ...

Definitely can't get used to giant fissures and 200+ ores seams from time to time and no ores rest of time :s And it seems that mods addings plants, trees etc...won't work, launched an indev mapgen yesterday and there was way more different plant species. So I'm personnally moving to mapgen V7 world...

Looks like a great mod !
Except I had a horse beside me, so well, instantly jumped on it, and controls are pretty messed up :s
Very difficult to turn or stop, and never found how to dismount (in 3d person view with F7 key character is inside horse).
Can't wait for next update ! :)
