I personally use Lubuntu with my students. Before the computers had Windows 7 and they were moving very slowly and in bad shape but after I put Lubuntu on everything was flying!!

Looks awesome!!! Also since the old version isn't using the new/valleys mapgen, is it LGPL instead of GPL? Right now it says GPL but I remember it used to be LGPL. It isn't really of any concern right now but in the future I might work on a project with the students and I was planning on using just ...

Just FYI the link to the old version is not working. I realize you are still working on it but I did really like the way the old versions ruins looked. Does the newer version have the treasure chests and monster spawners? I saw you said you were trying to split the mod up to allow parts to be enable...

It would only affect the gamemode in which you changed it. So for example you could have one gamemode for survival, one for the minetest_game, a sword removed gamemode which is a copy of minetest_game without the swords, etc.

Find/Replace helps a lot. I do something similar so that the weapons do no damage.
Find fleshy =
Replace with fleshy =-

Negative values do no damage so (I think actually might heal?) quick fast fix :)

Wow!! You have so many interesting ideas for your mods. I feel like now it is just a matter of time until they are driving cars haha. I imagine the boat riding code could even work for that though they'd probably drive super randomly, hmm!!!

I went back to try some adventuretest and this error scrolls down the screen a lot: ERROR[Server]: Better HUD[error]: Given HUD element "armor" does not exist h���� When I used magic missile I don't think it was using mana like before. Thanks again for this fun mod! -Mike

I noticed on youtube there are so many tutorials but not many showcases so it'd be a short showcase :) A big reason would be to show my students what is possible and get them excited about it.
