Pink Grid Fails To Display

If area protection is set to 5 (default) then 5 blocks all around the protection node (up/down, left/right, back/forward) is protected... As for the others, I guess they'd work, but automated interact-granting mods don't prevent griefers with an intention to cause havoc (if the server doesn't have a protection mod). I don't think there is such as thing as fool's proof way to prevent griefing. short of having congress passing down gri...

Disabled minimap - login to grey 0,0,0

Assuming your client is new enough to have the minimap, try turning it off (the enable_minimap setting, not just hiding it with F9). Also, if your client is old enough to have a "preload_item_visuals" setting, turn that off. This bug seems to happen when the client takes too long to load ...
