Python is my favourite language for many projects, but Lua:
- is faster
- has less footprint
- is designed for to be embedded in other C/C++ programs

I am the developer of the Tubelib/TechPack, a transfer mod similar to pipeworks and I like the idea of a standardized node API. Unfortunately for me it comes one year to late.
But perhaps we still can bring both APIs together....

You know, you could also split all mods into individual repos and then make the modpack consist of git submodules… :) Theoretically yes, practically No xD I will try to make at least tubelib as external repo. BTW: There was a bug in the tubing code, I just fixed. So you should update...

I have some issues with moving/copying nodes from one of my technique related mods.
It seams that on_dig, after_place_node and other functions are not called.
I was wondering if is there a way to register functions to be called before/after a node is moved/deleted/copied?

Client crashes when connecting to server

I have a problem on my server (Intel, Ubuntu 17.4, minetest v0.4.17.1) with some clients. These players can't connect. The Minetest client crashes while "initializing nodes" somewhere between 70 and 90%.
Others have no problems.

The servers is: joesworld.zapto.org / 30000

Any idea?

Diese Warnung kommt aus der Mod unifieddyes. Ich habe gerade gecheckt, es gibt keinen aktuelleren Code. Diesen Fehler müsste daher jeder Serbver haben, der unifieddyes nutzt.
Dies kann es daher nicht sein...

Ich habe keine Ahnung, woran das liegen könnte. Allerdings habe ich das jetzt schön öfters gehört. Andere haben dagegen nie Probleme. Ich habe seit einigen Tagen auf 04.17.1 upgedatet, aber offensichtlich ohne Erfolg. Steht irgend ein Hinweis im File "debug.txt"? Hat sonst jemand eine Idee...
